I cut & shape these cufflinks to whatever shape you'd like- four leaf clovers, the shape of your favorite state, The outline of your favorite letter or number..whatever you'd like! I can also do some pierced out portions on the inside. Definite attention getters, they are hand finished & polished. These are signed on the back. Some SMALL stamping may be available on the front & back (think initials). This is not always available due to space constraints.
Since they are handmade to order, please add 1-2 days for creation. If your design is more than a simple outline cutout, contact me and I can draw up a quote! PLEASE check your email after ordering- I oftentimes need to contact you to confirm details about your order before creating it.
METAL OPTIONS:
Nickel silver: Nickel is a less costly, silvertone metal that doesnt tarnish as much as sterling. It has a great silver tone, but some people do have allergies to the metal. Since it's being worn on clothes, that's usually less of a concern. It does not like to have a patina on it, so if you need a multilayered design, I recommend sterling silver. If you do have strong allergies to the metal, I recommend upgrading to sterling silver. When choosing the nickel silver option, the top showy portion will be nickel silver, and the pivoting cufflink backing will be stainless steel.
Sterling silver: Sterling silver is my favorite metal and a quality option. This option is the best choice when doing a double layered design that requires a blackening patina. Nickel silver does not work as well for this. Sterling can easily be repolished and will provide a long lasting, beautiful design. I am currently out of sterling silver backings (will be restocked in January 2021), and when you choose sterling silver as the option, I will use stainless steel for the backings. The price is adjusted down for this.
