Discs of sterling or nickel silver are stamped with little 'stitches', then given a red finish & finally polished.  Handmade to order, I can add initials to the middle if you'd like!  Stamped on the back with my 'sudlow' signature.  
The discs measure 3/4" (I can also do them slightly smaller as 5/8" discs by request!)
