Cicada Wing Earrings

A pair of real cicada wings has been pressed into sterling silver, leaving an impression of every line on the wings. The wings are destroyed in the process. The metal is then cut and filed around the impressions and hung from a sterling silver earwire. The lines are further enhanced by oxidizing.
The back is signed with my signature. Each wing is a unique one of a kind piece, so expect difference between the pair

From top of earring wire, they usually measure just over 1.5" (4cm)
